Perspectives and questions
Good answers to the usual questions are rarely the path to innovative solutions.
Frisbees were invented with the goal to make something more fun to throw, not by following the latest toy trends. Post-It Notes were created for posting noticeable, repositionable messages instead of following a general path to improve communication in the workplace. Nike Air Jordans were designed for the single most important athlete, not for consumers in a target demographic.
Innovative solutions often come from different perspectives and unique questions.
