Nature's colors are harmonious

Complementary colors are color pairs that are opposite to each other on the color wheel. This includes blue and orange, like the sun setting against a blue sky.

Analogous colors are adjacent on the color wheel. Think of shades of red, pink, and purple flowers in a bouquet.

Color gradients show up in rainbows as different colors that transition to others.

We consider colors harmonious because we see it in nature. We absorbed meaning from what nature does on it’s own. Nature doesn’t think about what it’s doing. Nature is nature.
