Mise en place

It’s easier for me to work in a clean workspace and an organized environment. Everything’s in it’s place.

It feels great to have a clean desk, makerspace, floors, organized computer files, and a clean home. When I work from home and need to think, I take a break to clean the kitchen. It’s how I gather my thoughts. It’s lots of little things that I have to catch myself to stop doing and focus.

These things will need to get done, but the problem is they are not urgent. Maybe there’s something else that you should be doing right now.
